  Three stars overall. Pretty good pizza, nice atmosphere. I like the outside deck. Typically get pizza and beer. Tried the steak burger recently. Was not good; dry, burned, salty and appeared to be made from a frozen patty. Services has been good at times and not so good at others. My most recent visit, after having finished our meal and was ready to leave, the checkout process took 15-20 minutes. Perhaps our server was over worked but we did not receive the attentiveness we expected. I would rather feel well served, "bugged" in a way, than to feel forgotten about.
  
  Overall I recommend you give it a try. Especially if you like pizza and beer after a great day on the lake.

  I wouldn't give Charlies Pizza one star if I had the choice. The pizza and service is down right awful. The pizza was dry and the crust was burnt. After we complained, the staff automatically treated us very badly and blamed the brick oven. They offered to take off 20 percent if we would eat the dry burnt pizza. I wouldn't eat the pizza if they took off 100 percent. After the waitress rolled her eyes in the back of her head at us, she had a different pizza made. Then the new pizza came with the wrong toppings. People expect good pizza from a restaurant that specializes in pizza. I had better frozen pizza compared to Charlies. Someone desperately needs to show them how to make a decent pizza and stop putting the blame on a oven. Also, the men's bathroom smells like a combination of urine and backed up sewer.
